# Export & Import Fulfillment Transformations

You can export fulfillment transformation and calendar transformation settings from one environment and import them into another.

### Where to find it

Admin → Products → Templates → (open a template) → Fulfillment / Calendar transformation settings.

### What it does

* **Export** — downloads the transformation configuration as a portable file that can be saved and shared.
* **Import** — applies a previously exported transformation configuration to a template.

### When to use it

* **Moving configurations between environments** — export from a staging/demo site and import into a production site, or vice versa.
* **Sharing configurations across clients** — when multiple client sites use the same production pipeline, export once and import to each site rather than manually recreating the settings.
* **Backup before changes** — export the current configuration as a snapshot before making adjustments, so you can restore it if needed.

### Relationship to bulk copy

This is different from the existing **bulk copy** feature, which copies transformation settings from one template to multiple other templates *within the same site*. Export/import works *across sites and environments*.

### Notes

* Verify the imported settings after applying — field mappings, color profiles, and output formats may reference resources (e.g. ICC profiles, output directories) that exist on the source site but not the target.
* Calendar transformations follow the same export/import pattern as fulfillment transformations.
