# Connecting Pixfizz to OrderHub

This article covers how to link your Pixfizz storefront to OrderHub so that orders flow automatically into your production queue.

***

### Overview

The connection between Pixfizz and OrderHub is bidirectional:

* **Inbound:** Orders placed on your Pixfizz site are sent to OrderHub via a webhook.
* **Outbound:** Status changes in OrderHub (e.g. marking an order as shipped) update the order in Pixfizz Core automatically.

***

### How to Connect

#### Step 1: Create a Dedicated API User in Pixfizz

In your Pixfizz admin, create a new admin user specifically for the OrderHub integration.

* Use a descriptive name (e.g. "OrderHub API")
* Set a secure password
* Do not use your personal admin credentials — a dedicated user provides better audit tracking and avoids issues if your password changes

#### Step 2: Set Up the Webhook

Go to **Settings > Integrations** in OrderHub and add a new Pixfizz integration.

You will need:

* **Store name** — a friendly label for this connection
* **Website code** — the code used to identify your Pixfizz site (found in Pixfizz super admin)
* **Webhook URL** — OrderHub provides this. You will add it to your Pixfizz site configuration so that orders are pushed to OrderHub on placement.

#### Step 3: Enter API Credentials

Enter the API credentials for the dedicated Pixfizz user you created in Step 1. This allows OrderHub to communicate back to Pixfizz Core — for example, updating order statuses or writing tracking numbers.

#### Step 4: Set Up a Tracking Custom Field

For shipping integrations (e.g. EasyPost) to write tracking numbers back to Pixfizz:

1. In Pixfizz admin, create a custom order field called `tracking`
2. Set it as **public** (so it is visible to customers via their order status page)

This allows OrderHub to write the tracking ID from your shipping provider directly into the Pixfizz order.

#### Step 5: Configure Currency

Set the currency for this integration to match your Pixfizz site currency.

### Product Sync

OrderHub pulls your product catalog directly from Pixfizz Core. This is not a separate database — it reads from the same product data your storefront uses.

Go to **Settings > Products** to manage the sync:

* View how many products have been harvested from your Pixfizz site
* See the last sync timestamp
* Select which categories to include
* Enable **auto-sync** so products update automatically on a regular schedule
* Choose which products are available for creating custom orders in OrderHub

***

### Multiple Brands

You can connect multiple Pixfizz sites to a single OrderHub organization. Each site is set up as a separate integration under **Settings > Integrations** with its own webhook, API credentials, and product sync.

***

### Tips

* The webhook is fast — orders typically appear in OrderHub within a few seconds of being placed.
* If an order does not appear, check the webhook URL configuration and the API credentials first.
* If product images are missing in OrderHub, they may not have images assigned in Pixfizz admin.
* Use the **Test** buttons in the integration settings to verify the connection before going live.
