# Asymmetrical bleeds and margins

* Bleeds and margins can have different values on different side of the page.
* To use asymmetrical bleeds or margins, define the desired values in the template definition using the same conventions that are used in CSS for paddings and margins, where `bleed="5"` means a bleed of `5` on every side, `bleed="5 10"` means bleed should be `5` on top and bottom side, and `10` on left and right sides, `bleed="5 10 5 2.5"` means a bleed of `5` on top and bottom, `10` on the right side, and `2.5` on the left.
